Batra Associates Ltd, trading as Tax Teller. Five people, West Bromwich based, serving UK SMBs from builders to dentists. Founder-led, ACCA-regulated, and known — per our reviews — for answering the phone.
Story
How we started.
Batra Associates was incorporated in December 2011 and has been based in West Bromwich ever since. The founder — Akash Batra — set the firm up around a simple idea: that small businesses in the West Midlands deserved the same quality of advice as the larger firms in central Birmingham, without paying for the marble floors.
Fourteen years later that's still the shape of the firm. A core team of five, a client book that spans construction sites in Walsall to dental practices in Solihull, and a working rule that nobody gets bounced to voicemail three times before they speak to a partner.
The Tax Teller brand sits on top. It's how clients find us online — the firm's long name is a mouthful, and we'd rather be known for what we actually do than a family surname. The two companies are the same practice, the same people, the same regulator.
